Overview

At CMU, we know learning extends beyond the classroom. Living on campus enables students to be fully immersed in a vibrant community and provides opportunities for academic and personal growth in a safe, welcoming environment. Students who live on campus have a higher success rate thanks to easier access to on-campus resources.

Scholarship	Annual Value	Criteria
Mesa County Housing	Up to $4000 max	Mesa County resident: U.S. citizen, valid permanent resident or admitted with ASSET status Pursuing an associate or baccalaureate degree with Colorado Mesa University (CMU) or CMU Tech Living in an on-campus Residence Hall High School or CMU GPA 2.0 or higher Completed FAFSA/CASFA for current academic year - including any outstanding requirements in MAVzone Returning students continuing to receive this scholarship must meet the scholarship participation agreement

Room and board rates are available via Residence Life. This scholarship is funded through the Mesa County Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative grant awarded to Mesa County and the Colorado Mesa University Foundation.

No application is necessary, students will automatically be considered for this scholarship.

Scholarship awards are made based on available funding. Priority consideration is given to returning scholarship recipients who meet the scholarship participation requirements and maintain satisfactory academic progress. Award amounts may vary annually and are renewed based on eligibility and funding availability.
