Criteria:

  • Available to AICPA members who are full-time undergraduate or graduate students.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Must have completed at least 30 credit hours, including 6 hours in accounting.

Criteria:

  • Applicant must be African American, American Indian, or Hispanic/Latino.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent U.S. resident.
  • Must attend full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Chemistry or Science.
  • Class rank of Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior.
  • Must also be majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or a chemically-related science and planning a career in the chemical sciences or chemical technology.

  • Class rank of Sophomore, Junior, or Senior at a state supported higher education institution in Colorado.
  • Must be enrolled in a degree program with a declared major in the area of accounting, finance, or other financial management study.
  • Must intend to pursue a career with the State of Colorado.

  • Must obtain a letter of sponsorship from a Colorado DAR Chapter.

Criteria:

  • Available to non-traditional female students (25 years or older).
  • Must be a legal U.S. citizen and have resided in Colorado for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding application.
  • Must attend an educational institution of higher learning or vocational training located and accredited in Colorado.
  • Must demonstrate financial need, scholastic ability, leadership skills, and career goals.

  • Must attend a recognized institution full-time (minimum of 12 credit hours per semester).
  • Must be majoring in a course of study directly related to or bearing a reasonable relationship to the science of oil, gas, or other mineral formation evaluation.

Criteria:

  • This contest is designed to challenge college students to analyze the urgent ethical issues confronting them in today's complex world. Students are encouraged to write thought-provoking personal essays that raise questions, single out issues and are rational arguments for ethical action.
  • Must be a full-time undergraduate Junior or Senior registered at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.

Criteria:

  • Environmental Studies, Environmental Research, Land Use, Earth and Atmosphere Studies, Sustainable Land Management, Parks and Recreation, Sustainable Agriculture Systems or a related field.

Criteria:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or Alien with U.S. Permanent Resident Status/ Alien Registration Number.
  • Must be currently enrolled in state-approved schools of nursing or pre-nursing in associate degree, baccalaureate, diploma, generic doctorate, and generic master's programs.
  • Not available for graduate study unless it is for a first degree in nursing.

Criteria:

  • Awarded to graduating seniors from a Mesa County high school, who have been Mesa County residents for at least one year.
  • Must attend a community college, technical school or recognized training course.

  • Currently attending a four-year college or university in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico or Utah
  • Entering your junior or senior year in fall semester 2013, or winter semester 2014

Information and Application

Criteria:

  • Must have completed half the requirements for a degree or certification program in which enrolled
  • Must have real financial need
  • Must have at least 3.0 GPA
  • Must have a career objective in the Hospitality Industry (i.e., Hotel/Restaurant Management, Culinary, Food Service, Architecture, Design, etc.)

Criteria:

  • Be the natural, adopted, step-child or full dependent of a worker killed or seriously injured in a compensable work-related accident during the course and scope of employment with a Colorado-based employer and entitled to receive benefits under the Colorado Workers’ Compensation Act.
  • Must be between the ages of 16 and 25 at the time of application.
  • Must have a high school diploma, GED or be a high school senior if applying for undergraduate or vocational training.
  • Must have a college degree or be a college senior if applying for graduate school.
  • Submit at least one letter of recommendation, a personal essay and their most current transcripts.
  • Submit documentation of their parents’ accident.

  • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Criteria:

  • Must be a legal resident of Weld County and have been a resident for at least two of the last four years.
  • A Weld County resident graduating from a high school outside of Weld County also qualifies.

  • An Honorably Discharged Veteran may qualify, be sure to check the website for specific information.
  • There is no family cap on the program.
