Any CMU employees experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should call the Community Health Partnership line at 970-644-4001. Do not go to the emergency room or clinic before a call and preliminary phone screening. Self-quarantine while waiting for your preliminary health screening and/or physical appointment.

Families First Coronavirus Response Act - Employee Paid Leave Rights

This act, effective April 1, 2020, requires certain employers to provide employees with paid sick leave or expanded family medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. These provisions will apply from the effective date through December 31, 2020. Please see attached notification for more information.

Faculty & Staff: Rocky Mountain Health Plans COVID-19 Updates & Information

It will detail the updates to the benefit coverage related to COVID-19:

  • RMHP will waive Member cost sharing (copays, coinsurance, and deductibles) for COVID-19 diagnostic testing for all RMHP Members
  • This includes in-network office visits, in-network urgent care visits, and/or emergency room visits.
  • If an in-network provider is unable to conduct testing for COVID-19, RMHP will cover testing performed by an out-of-network provider.

CMU Employees and their enrolled family Members can also use Doctor On Demand 24/7 and at no cost (regardless of plan) for health matters related to COVID-19: https://www.doctorondemand.com/

UnitedHealthcare is waiving costs for your COVID-19 testing at approved locations in accordance with CDC guidelines.

  • Call with COVID-19 benefits questions or visit the FAQ section of the webpage
  • Get emotional support through the Optum Health Line at 866-342-6892 (available 24/7)
