Due to the COVID-19 crisis the large classroom sessions of New Employee Orientation are on hold. Meetings with new employees are being held weekly, or as-needed, with 2 to 3 people at a time.

Faculty& Administrative Staff Benefits
Benefits eligible Professional Personnel are employees who are Faculty, Administrators or Auxiliary employees of the University with an appointment of at least a 0.75 FTE during the fiscal year. Benefits are effective the first day of the month following the date of hire. If the date of hire is the first day of the month, benefits begin immediately. The Faculty & Administrative Staff benefit year is January 1 - December 31.
State of Colorado Classified Employee Benefits
Colorado’s state personnel system (known as "Classified Positions") recognizes employee rights, values the differing roles and relevant contributions of various stakeholders, allows reasonable discretion for departments to establish their own operating practices, and ensures the Board rules and Director’s administrative procedures complement each other.
Benefits are offered to permanent full-time and part-time employees and begin the first day of the month, following date of hire. The Classified benefit year is July 1 - June 30.
