About Me

Anthelme "Matt" Machet was born in Saint Paul, Savoie, France, a small village in the heart of the French Alps. His passion for aviation led him to obtain a Bachelor and Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering at ESTACA (Ecole Superieure des Techniques Aeronautiques et Automobiles) in 2016. For the last year of his MoS, he decided to cross the Atlantic and obtained a Master of Business Administration (major in Supply Chain and Finance) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU).

Passionate by entrepreneurship, he took advantage of his time in the US to obtain the Stanford Innovation and Entrepreneurship certificate. His other passion for mountaineering led him to start as an intern for Leitner-Poma Of America, then transitioning into a full time position as Project Manager for LPOA in 2018. In 2019, he was assigned the creation and management of the Logistics department along with the Strategic Planning office. Anthelme speaks English, French, Spanish and German.

Anthelme is a proud husband and dad. His passions are aviation, mountaineering and History, especially the Napoleonic era and WWII.

About Me

Louise Goodman is Timberline Bank’s Grand Junction Branch President and has been with the bank since it opened its doors in 2004. Both parents were educators and Louise and all her 12 siblings attended college. Louise graduated from the University of Northern Colorado where she earned distinction as a member of the National Dean’s List. A Denver native, Louise moved to the Western Slope in 2003 and is now enjoying the slower country life on acreage outside of Grand Junction. Louise’s current and past community involvement includes service as the President and Founding Member of the Western Colorado Latino Chamber of Commerce, Foundation Board Member of STRIVE, Member of the Mesa County Women’s Network, Volunteer for the Grand Junction Business Incubator, Volunteer for the Child and Migrant Services Center, Board Member of Riverside Educational Center and Board Member of Community Impact Council.

Over the past 17 years at Timberline Bank, Louise has had the great honor of helping to grow Timberline Bank on the Western Slope. Timberline Bank has received the following awards and recognition: SBA Colorado Community Rural Lender of the Year (2015 and 2018), Colorado Company to Watch, ICBA Best Community Bank to Work for, Grand Junction Chamber Business of the Year, Fruita Chamber Business of the Year and most recently recognized by Governor Polis as a PPP Hero for the bank’s participation in the Paycheck Protection Program.

About Me

Doug Simmons is Enstrom Candies Owner and President. He was born in London and immigrated to the US back in 1957. He is a CMU alumnus. After working for other companies, he moved back to Grand Junction and joined his wife’s family business, Enstrom Candies. He worked many years under the company’s founder, and in 1987 he became the President. By 1993 He and his wife purchased the business. Doug is responsible for Enstrom’s transformational journey from a Mom and Pop” business into a competitive, high-quality producer of confections recognized worldwide. Doug is a respectable member of the candy industry in the US and overseas. He has served on many local boards including; Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce, Grand Junction Lions Club, and the Downtown Development Authority. He served 8 years on the Grand Junction Regional Airport Authority Board, and two-time chairman. Doug is currently serving on the Grand Junction Economic Partnership board.

About Me

Carol Norman has been in the Information Technology industry for 20+ years. She has worked for small start-ups, fortune 500 firms in both private and public sectors. She currently manages a global operations team at Hewlett Packard Enterprise within the services organization – Pointnext. Her undergraduate and MBA degrees are from the University of Colorado. Carol enjoys time hiking, skiing and golfing. She and her husband Steve have three adult children living across the United States.

Bryan Woody

General Manager

Bryan Woody is General manager of Madeline Hotel and Residences in Telluride, Colorado, and Sleeping Indian Ranch, in Ridgway, Colorado, the properties are part of the Auberge Resorts Collection. Born in Utah and raised in the foothills of the Cottonwood Canyon ski resorts, he loves the mountains and the adventures and experiences they afford both his guests and his family. He started his career with Hilton Hotels in Salt Lake City which took him to Manhattan. Bryan joined The Ritz-Carlton, New York Central Park where he rose through the food and beverage ranks and joined the executive leadership team. He opened the first US food and beverage operation of chef Gordon Ramsay at The London NYC before moving to The Waldorf=Astoria where he served as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage. Bryan then transitioned to lifestyle hotels taking on the Hotel manager role for Hudson and progressing to General Manager and Area General manager for Morgans Hotel Group in Manhattan. He was recruited to launch a private membership club and event space in TriBeCa catering to creatives called Spring Place. There he served as Chief Operating Officer expanding the club to Beverly Hills. Before moving home to the rocky mountains, Bryan also opened hotels and partnered with operators around the world to operate in international markets including Marrakech, Zanzibar, Lima, Paris, Lisbon, Riyadh, Tokyo, and London.

Bryan now proudly serves as General Manager for Auberge Resorts Collection in the paradise that is Telluride, living with his family and enjoying all the greatness of the Rocky Mountains.

Gareth Brown

Gareth Brown has had a diverse career in hospitality spanning more than 20 years prior to joining Charlestowne Hotels in 2018. Growing up in Anchorage, Alaska, Gareth worked in a variety of senior leadership roles in both independent boutique and upscale tour and convention properties while also attending the University of Alaska, Anchorage, for Business Administration. He was a recipient of “Top Forty Under 40” and “Hotel Manager of The Year” awards for the state of Alaska. In search of warmer climates, he moved to Southern California where he began his tenure with Montage Hotels & Resorts. Over the next 10 years he spent time in Beverly Hills, Park City, Las Vegas and Palmetto Bluff, holding senior and executive level positions which included oversight of operations, rooms division and residential services within these properties. Gareth was on the opening team of three renowned 5 Star / 5 Diamond Montage properties, and also attended the UNLV School of Hospitality during this time. Gareth now has multiple independent properties within his Charlestowne portfolio, ranging from the Southeast Coast to Central California.

Tim Baldwin

Tim Baldwin is currently a Vice President with Aspen Skiing Company and their ski resorts of Aspen, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass and Buttermilk. Tim oversees the company’s food and beverage portfolio of 16 restaurants along with a catering/banquet division.

Prior to his current role Tim was General Manager at Residences at The Little Nell, the exclusive fractionally owned property managed by the 5 star team at The Little Nell. The Residences at The Little Nell is a blend of luxury hotel rooms and 3-4 bedroom suites along with fractionally owned private residences. Residences at The Little Nell is one of the most exclusive fractional properties in the world.

Tim has an extensive background of elite food and beverage leadership, has overseen multiple Forbes 5 Star restaurants and led some of the nation’s elite hotel food and beverage teams. From being Director of Food and Beverage at both the 5 Diamond Monarch Beach Resort in Orange County, California and its 9 restaurants, to the Forbes 5 Star Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado where the team opened what would become a Forbes 5 Star restaurant in Element 47. The Little Nell is widely recognized as having one of the country’s best service and wine programs to complement their Grand Award from wine spectator. Tim was a senior leader at the iconic Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs for 12 years and oversaw the resorts prestigious wine program along with many of their top rated restaurant programs.

Individually Tim has been recognized as one of the best beverage directors in the nation, named a “top 30 under 30” restaurant leader by Restaurant Hospitality magazine. Competed in the Best Sommelier in American competition. Won the southwest region of the Chaine de Rotisseurs best sommelier competition and was named the best sommelier at the Copa Jerez world championships in Spain.

Tim attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and the General Managers Program at the prestigious Cornell Hotel School.

Elizabeth Fogarty

Elizabeth Fogarty moved to the area in March 2018 to accept the roll of Director at Visit Grand Junction. Since arriving, she has implemented a full reorganization of the City of Grand Junction's Department to embrace a destination management strategy, with a focus on data-based marketing.

Elizabeth is active with the Colorado Tourism Office including involvement with the following committees: Marketing, Regional Branding, Agency selection, Winter Task Force, and National Park Loop.

Prior to arriving in Grand Junction, Elizabeth was CEO of Visit Estes Park May 2014 – December 2017. Participation with the organization began as a founding board member of the Local Marketing District Board, created in 2009, and involvement with Visit Estes Park’s branding, logo, website, agency and marketing committees. She was awarded Best Marketing campaign at the 2016 Governor’s Tourism Conference. She was Vice President on the Estes Area Lodging Association Board, serving over 150 members.

Elizabeth was General Manager at Estes Park Condos from 2005 – 2013, while achieving “Best Resort in Estes Park.” During this time, she created and project managed the Estes Park Winter Festival, one of the fastest growing festivals in the State of Colorado. She was also a founding member which created the Estes Park Economic Development Corporation. She was the recipient of “Volunteer of the Year,” presented by the Town of Estes Park.

Elizabeth has over 33 years of experience in the hospitality and marketing industries at such organizations as Delaware North Companies - the largest privately held hospitality company in the world (Elizabeth awarded Manager of the Quarter, Unit of the Year, and national recognitions), Broadmoor Hotel, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Sheraton Hotels, Yosemite National Park, consulting firm Sceptre, and past Vice President of the Southern Colorado Business Travel Association.

Angela Padalecki

Angela Padalecki is the Executive Director at Grand Junction Regional Airport. She has a MA in Economics, a MS in Finance, and a BA in Economics and Political Science. In her free time she is the Chair of the Board for Hilltop Community Resources, a classroom facilitator at Rocky Mountain, Inc, and she teaches Economics at Front Range Community College and the Community College of Aurora.

Anthony Restivo is the CEO of Coloramo Credit Union. He is a driven, entrepreneurial minded leader with 17 years’ experience leveraging technology and data to successfully deliver an elevated end-user experience. Proficient in leading teams in the areas of Information Technology, Data Analytics, Digital Banking, and Sales & Service. Experienced with Negotiations, Product Development, Strategic Planning at the board level, and extensive experience leading Technology Initiatives.

Robert Bray

Robert Bray is the CEO of Bray Real Estate Co. Bray’s mission is to be the premier provider of comprehensive real estate services on the Western Slope. Bray has a BS in Real Estate from the University of Denver and attended Colorado Mesa University from 1969 to 1971 where he now teaches real estate classes in his free time.

Brian Fraser

Fraser is founder of Canyon Creek Investment Advisors, Ltd., a Marine Corps veteran, and a Colorado native. He has a MS in Finance from the University of Denver and a BBA in Finance from Colorado Mesa University. After graduating from CMU he ended up teaching finance for seven years at the same institution he graduated from. He then went into investment banking and later founded his own company offering advising, planning, and consultancy services.
