  • As a public accounting major, choosing to do the 3+2 program was an easy decision. To become a certified public accountant, one must have 150 credit hours so being able to graduate in 5 years while obtaining a master's degree and achieving the 150 credit hour requirement naturally put me ahead of my peers.

Each track has three basic components: a 24 hour core, a 6 hour research component and 6 hours of additional master's level coursework consistent with a chosen track. Electives include such courses as advanced project management, entrepreneurship, human resource management, management information systems and various special topics courses.
