Celebrate 100 Years of the Davis School of Business!
This image shows the business school’s growth from the founding of Grand Junction Junior College in 1925 to earning AACSB accreditation in 2025. It highlights major milestones such as early business courses, the establishment of the School of Commerce, the introduction of bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and the creation of the Davis School of Business in 2020. Throughout the timeline, it’s clear that business has always been an integral part of CMU’s identity, continuously evolving to meet the needs of students and the community.

The following advisory boards were strategically developed to ensure that our programs stay current with recent innovations, trends, and evolving expectations in the business environment. Each board consists of business professionals from the related degree program.
