How Applications Are Evaluated
Each application is evaluated by MBA faculty using a standardized scoring rubric. Applicants are assessed based on academic preparation, professional experience, leadership potential, career goals, written communication skills, letters of recommendation and connections to western Colorado.
As part of the review process, additional consideration is given to qualified applicants who have lived, worked or studied in western Colorado. This regional consideration is factored into the overall application score but does not replace the program's academic and professional admission standards.
Admission to the MBA program is competitive, with each incoming cohorts limited size. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee acceptance.
