Non-Student - Communication Services Request

The following steps are for anyone seeking ASL interpretation, CART, or video captioning for Colorado Mesa University institutional programming and services, as well as for programming and services provided by CMU-affiliated partners. 

Submit requests for services here. Please make requests at least two weeks in advance if possible. Requests submitted with less notice will be accepted, but may not be filled in time.

Create/Access Account

Use the link below to create an account in the Communication Access module of AIM to facilitate your communication request.

Complete Custom Request Form

Complete the Event Detail and the List of Questions within the Custom Request form. See the video below for further instructions and walk through guidance for completing the Custom Request form.
Step 3

Request Fulfillment

EAS will reach out to the provided contact information within 48 business hours to confirm details and make accommodation arrangements.  

EAS will give primary consideration to the requested service(s); however, accessibility law allows for an alternative service to be offered if one is more readily available and equally effective in accommodating needs. The contact person will receive confirmation of arranged accommodations if and when the request has been completed.
