CMU/CU Boulder Accommodation Services
Students registered for courses at CMU through the CMU/CU Boulder Engineering Partnership Program can still receive accommodations through Educational Access Services. Students with a disability or temporary medical condition may be provided accommodations for both CMU courses and CU Boulder courses in the partnership program.
EAS collaborates with CU Boulder's Disability Services office as needed and reports student accommodation information to CU Boulder Disability Services. First contact regarding accommodations should be Educational Access Services.
Partnership Accommodations Process
The following information is intended to provide faculty with the overview of how accommodations for students in the CMU/CU Boulder Engineering Partnership Program are administered.-
Student Requests Accommodations
Students are directed to request accommodations through EAS using their AIM Portal.
-
EAS Manually Adds Courses
The CMU accommodation management software, AIM, does not sync with the CU Boulder system, so EAS will manually add the student's enrollment information to AIM.
-
Faculty Accommodation Memo
CU Boulder faculty will receive the Faculty Accommodation Memo listing student's accommodations per requested course to their CMU faculty email.
-
Accommodation Implementation
Faculty can reference the Resources for Faculty on the EAS website for guidance on testing, flexibility, and other accommodations or by contacting EAS staff.
