Colorado Mesa University Residence Life

Welcome!

At CMU, the learning experience goes well beyond the classroom. In particular, our on-campus living options offer you a multitude of opportunities for academic and personal growth in a safe and welcoming community.

Moving away from home can seem like a giant leap, but students at Colorado Mesa University quickly find a second home living in our residence halls. By living on campus, you have the unique opportunity to make connections with faculty, staff, and other students within the university community. Plus, with the convenience of hassle-free, on-campus living, you can focus on enjoying university life and being successful in and outside the classroom.

We are thrilled that you chose CMU - a place to live, learn, grow, challenge yourself and have fun! Let us know if we can answer any questions.

Residency Policy

Colorado Mesa University has a required on campus residency policy. All first-year and sophomore students who are single, under 21 years of age and not residing with their parents in Mesa County are required to live on campus, provided that space is available. Any exceptions to this policy must be submitted to Residence Life with appropriate documentation and then approved by the Director of Residence Life.
