Panhellenic Info Nights are crucial for all potential new members. You will learn about the recruitment process and get all the information you need to know to have the best experience possible! Potential new members will break into recruitment groups who will go through the process together. You can choose one of the two sessions to attend. This will take place in a to be announced location. The information nights will be August 18th or 20th at 6pm in UC 213.
What to Wear
The dress attire for info night is very casual and comfortable, such as jeans, shorts, and t-shirts. Potential new members will be spending time learning about the recruitment process and meeting the members of their Rho Gamma groups.
∗During the recruitment process the following clothing options are not appropriate: gym clothes, sweatpants, leggings, inappropriate/very revealing clothing
During the first round of recruitment, all potential new members will visit both chapters for 30 minutes. You will attend each party with your Rho Gamma group. Each day you will have conversations with multiple women from each chapter. On first datebook, chapters will give you an overview of their organization. This will take place in the Meyer Ballroom, you will meet your Rho Gamma group in UC 213 on August 20th at 6pm.
What to Wear
For the first datebook, attire is casual. Nice jeans, dresses or skirts are appropriate. Keep it put-together and comfortable.During the second round of recruitment, you will again visit both chapters for 30 minutes. The chapters will talk to you about their philanthropy, both national and local. You might do a small craft to benefit one of the philanthropies the women support. This is a great opportunity to meet different women than you did at the first datebook and don't forget to ask questions! This will take place in the Meyer Ballroom, meet your Rho Gamma group in UC 213 on August 21st at 6pm .
What to Wear
For second datebook, attire is dressier. Dresses, nice pants, or skirts are recommended. Wedges, casual heels, flats or nice sandals are appropriate.
On preference day, you will visit both chapters and spend 45 minutes with each group to participate in their preference ceremonies. These ceremonies present the values and ideals held by the chapter. This event will take place on the second floor of the University Center in the Meyer Ballroom. Please meet your Rho Gamma's in UC 213 on August 22nd at 6pm .
What to Wear
Potential new members should wear cocktail-type dresses and heels preferably. Dress as you would for a semi-formal event.
Potential new members will meet their Rho Gammas in a location provided during orientation. You will be given your invitation, or bid, to join a sorority if selected. Once everyone receives their bids, new members will meet their new member class and sorority sisters. This will take place in the Meyer Ballroom on August 23rd at 9:30am, please clear your calendar for the afternoon. You will then go with your group and participate in a fun bid day activity!
What to Wear
The dress attire for bid day is casual. You can wear jeans or shorts and a t-shirt. You will likely be given a shirt or accesories from your chapter.
