Do it!  Check your CMU email account frequently. Your CMU email account is the primary form of communication between you and University faculty and staff. You are responsible for reviewing the messages sent to you.  To access your CMU email account, click on the Outlook Email app in MAVzone.

Do It!  Review any holds on your account and take the necessary steps to remove them. To view your holds, click here and login to your MAVzone account.  View list of common holds and how to take care of them.  If you still have questions about your holds, contact IRIS in Lowell Heiny Hall.

 

Do It!  Verify your Social Security Number.  Please click here and login to MAVzone to see if your social security number is already on file with the Registrar's Office.  If your social security number is listed, please review it to make sure it is correct.  If it is correct, no further action is needed.  If your social security number is not listed or it is incorrect, please submit a copy of your social security card to the Registrar's Office.

 

Do it!  Colorado Residents: Apply for COF & Authorize COF.  The College Opportunity Fund provides a stipend that pays a portion of your total in-state tuition at CMU.  This is money that you do not have to pay back!  You just have two easy steps to complete: 1) Apply for COF and 2) Authorize COF to receive the stipend.

 

Do it! Register for classes. Visit the registration page here to learn more about how and when you can register for classes.  After reviewing the site, if you need assistance with registration please contact IRIS at 970-248-1177.

 

Do it!  Are you registered for an online or hybrid (in person and online) course? If so, you’ll receive an email to your official CMU account with a link to complete the online D2L orientation.  Complete the online orientation and pass the quiz or you’ll be dropped from your online or hybrid course.

 

Do it!  Are you wait listed for a course? If you are on a wait list for a course that is full, you will need to check your official CMU email daily.  When a seat opens in the course and you have the opportunity to add the course, you’ll receive an email notification. Once you receive the notification, you need to add the course using the course registration tools found on the registration web site. There is a limited time period for you to add the course or you’ll be dropped from the wait list. Depending on the time in the semester, you will have anywhere from 24-48 hours to add the course once you receive your notification. If you have an Advising hold on your account, just call 970-248-1177 or email [email protected] for assistance.

 

Do it!  View and pay your bill or sign up for a payment plan.  Once you register for classes, you will be charged for tuition and fees.  You can view your account balance and make payments via ePay.  You can also sign up for a monthly or bi-weekly payment plan in your ePay portal.

Do it!  Purchase your Textbooks. You can purchase online or by visiting the CMU Bookstore in person in the University Center.  Just bring a copy of your schedule and the staff there will assist you.
