Hello everyone! My name is Mitchell Thomas, and I am from Greeley, Colorado. I am a student at Colorado Mesa University, majoring in History with a Secondary Education concentration. I work as a Resident Assistant, focusing on building community and supporting students as they adjust to college life.
My goal as an Upward Bound tutor is to help students reach their goals in school and beyond. I know how important it is to have someone in your corner, so I hope to be that person for the students I work with.
Outside of school, I love running and am training for an upcoming race. I also enjoy playing chess, collecting Pokémon cards, and building Legos! I’m excited to be part of the Upward Bound and to support students as they grow in confidence and skills.
