We are so excited to that you are interested in being a part of Upward Bound! Our application packet contains all required forms that you and your parents/guardians must complete. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

How to submit your application

Hand delivery

Download, print, and drop off your completed application packet to the Upward Bound Advisor at Grand Junction High School or Central High School.

Grand Junction High School: Library

All sections of the application must be completed, including all required parent and student signatures.

Complete our new online application!

Students will create a log-in and complete all required sections of the application.
Students will input the email address for their parent or legal guardian. Parents or legal guardians will then receive an email to complete their portion of the application.
Students will input the email address of a counselor, teacher, or coach to complete the recommendation form. The individual will then receive an email to complete the recommendation portion of the application.

Application requirements

All applications must include the following information.

A completed application form with all required signatures
A signed financial statement from your parent or guardian (Section 2 of application)
A copy of your high school transcript
One recommendation form from a counselor, teacher, or coach

These forms will be returned to Upward Bound by the recommender directly.
