CMU provides students with opportunities to grow by connecting the student with the resources they need to be successful. To accomplish these goals, the institution offers opportunities based on the philosophy that students who have made meaningful connections with the campus would have a greater likelihood of persisting in their education and achieving their personal and academic goals.
The Advising Center compiled five videos to help orient students to CMU’s online resources. The videos series helps new students and transfer students prepare for their advising appointment and helps the student learn to navigate our MAVzone system. The Advising Quiz that students complete after watching the Advising Video Series guides the following Learning Outcomes:
Students will gain knowledge about CMU policies/procedures, how to navigate the MAVzone, and register for classes.
