Early Start Program | August 13-17, 2023
The transition from high school to college is a major step. CMU's Early Start Programs are designed to give first-time traditional students valuable knowledge about their college journey.
There are three tracks in the Early Start Program: full, Compass and GOALS — more information on each track is available below. Students will be automatically placed into a track based on their admission level. If you are not sure of your admission level, please contact your admissions counselor or the Admissions Office.
Registration for Early Start Programs will launch on April 3. If you sign up and would like to withdraw, cancel your registration by August 1 to prevent non-refundable charges to your account.
Important: The first ESP session for all tracks is at 3:30pm on Sunday, August 13.
Full Track: Class in session Monday-Thursday from 9am-4pm (2-credit course)
Compass Track: Class in session Monday-Thursday from 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm (1-credit course)
