Meet the Team

Coach Gabriele Cahill has been teaching, training and choreographing for 20 years in all styles of dance. She grew up training in both studio and competitive settings. Not only did she continue classes through high school but she was hired to choreograph and teach at the age of 15 years old.

She graduated from Colorado Mesa University in 2013 with a BA in dance and music theatre. During her undergrad, she was honored with multiple awards including outstanding performer and choreographer for multiple works. After graduation she traveled to Las Vegas to rebuild a dance program and she started a media based dance company called Coax Dance Theatre.

She returned to Grand Junction in 2015 where she was hired as the new program director and coach for the Mavettes Dance Team. She is also an instructor of dance technique and choreographer for the CMU dance program where she teaches jazz, ballet, hip hop, modern and tap.
