CMU TV

The Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication provides students with a concentration in "Media Strategies and Applications." The primary goal of this program is to offer students an opportunity to develop a balance of knowledge, theory, and skills that will assist them in securing employment in the ever-changing, broad field of Mass Communication. Our professors have a broad mix of academic skills and professional credentials that help provide our students with the knowledge they need come graduation. The Mass Communication department is fortunate to have the same cutting-edge technology, equipment and software that is used in professional media environments. Graduates of Colorado Mesa University's Mass Communication program find successful careers across the country, in traditional Mass Media (magazines, newspapers, radio and TV stations, public relations and advertising), as well as in non-traditional settings such as media agencies, non-profits and government agencies.

CMU Mass Communication graduates have gone on to study at prestigious graduate programs such as the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, Syracuse University and Colorado State University.
