First-Generation Student Mesa Experience in November 2024 – in partnership with CMU Admissions and the Ambassador team, first-generation students were given “Fearless First-Gen” buttons and first-generation ambassadors worn similar buttons to show off their First-Gen pride!
More Pre-College Programming
College Crash Course in March 2025 - together with CMU Upward Bound, local students and families were invited to campus to engage in an evening of college preparation! Participants learned about the admissions process, financial aid, housing, and student wellness. Campus offices provided tables and information about studying abroad, living on campus, accessing food pantries, and staying active in college.
