Please review each study’s description carefully before choosing to participate. Each listing includes the study format (e.g., online survey, interview), estimated time commitment, number of research credits offered, and any eligibility criteria.
If you choose to participate in a study for course credit, be sure to complete the credit confirmation form at the end of the study. Your responses will be recorded securely and shared only with your instructor for credit purposes.
The list of available studies will be updated throughout the semester. The updated deadline of research participation for credit for this 2025 Fall semester is Friday of the last week of class (12/5). So be sure to plan ahead!

Study Description: This research study assesses students’ preferences for research-based or application-focused courses in the undergraduate Psychology curriculum. Demographic variables will be gathered to assess if there are differences in student course preferences relative to their career focus. This data will aid in shaping future curriculum. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Study Description: You are invited to participate in a survey on pediatric chronic illness and psychological well-being. This study aims to investigate what psychological factors may play a role in the adult lives of people who have/had chronic illnesses as children. The researchers intend to present the aggregated findings at the Rocky Mountain Psychological Association annual conference. The researchers hope to better understand how pediatric chronic illnesses interact with psychological well-being.
We are seeking participants ages 18 and older who have experienced some aspects of pediatric chronic illness to complete the survey. It should take less than 15 minutes to complete and is anonymous. If you would like to receive course credit for the study, please be sure you click the link at the end of the survey and you will be taken to the research participation pool administrative site which is separate from the survey tool.

Study Description: Our research investigates how validation impacts student athletes. This will count towards your required research participation within your psychology course (earning 1 credit) with your participation expected to take approximately 10-15 minutes. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years of age and be a student athlete, whether club sport or varsity sport.

Study Description: Our research investigates the relationship between one’s sex education and readiness for adolescent milestones. This will count towards your required research participation within your psychology course (earning 1 credit) with your participation expected to take approximately 10-15 minutes. To participate in this study, participants must be at least 18 years of age. Number of Credits: 4 credits
Study Description: The purpose of this study is to explore how wisdom is passed down between generations, especially through stories, and how that shapes a person’s sense of identity. We are particularly interested in how myths, cultural teachings, and different ways of knowing (what we call epistemologies) influence this process. Participants have to be 18 or older.
