Serving your community isn't just good for others—it helps you develop your own career contacts and plans. If you're not sure what field you'd like to work in, volunteering is a great way to test the waters. It also builds your resume, gives you valuable connections, and helps you understand how to apply the concepts you've learned in the classroom.

Many of our students are involved in community service, both on campus and in the larger Grand Valley community. The Psychology Club also gets involved in community service.

Here they are helping clean up a local park on a sunny October day.

Psychology Club does autumn clean-up.
