The forensic investigation—criminal justice minor introduces students to the application of the forensic sciences to criminal investigation and the importance and use of physical evidence (as opposed to witness statements or documents). Students who take this minor generally major in criminal justice, although a double major (or minor) in biology could create additional career choices.

This minor is useful to students planning careers in investigation or criminal law.
