A permit is required to park in any parking lot on campus.
All lots are enforced from 6 am-6 pm, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise posted. Pay-to-Park, Reserved lots, loading zones, handicapped spaces and fire lanes are enforced all year, even during college breaks. All Reserved lots are enforced seven days a week.
Permits and Paid Parking
Daily parking permits are ideal options for individuals wishing to visit campus for the whole day. This pass can be purchased in any quantity prior to use, and are available online at for $10/day.
Pay-to-Park is a cashless, quick and secure way to pay for parking at CMU!
Pay-to-Park: $2/hour with a one hour minimum. A 35-cent convenience fee will be applied per transaction. If parking for less than one hour, the $2.35 charge still applies.
AMP Park App: AMP Park is a free app available on all smartphones that makes it easier and faster to pay for your parking. The app allows you to pay using your phone and extend your parking time without walking back to your car to add more money.
Payments made through the AMP Park App are only valid in Pay-to-Park lots.
After purchasing a permit, contact the parking manager or supervisor at 970.248.1922 or 970.248.1931 to request an accessible parking endorsement.
Vehicles displaying an accessible placard or plate without a current campus parking permit must pay the hourly rate in a pay-to-park lot or space.
Parking for the Admissions Office is available in the Pay-to-Park P2. An Admissions parking permit is required and can be obtained from the Admissions Office just north of the lot.
Auxiliary Vendors must contact parking services to obtain a permit.
