Please review the application process carefully. Application procedure checklists are available for each program to guide you through the process (these are for your information and should not be submitted). All forms must be completed and submitted electronically to healthscience@coloradomesa.edu.

Step 1

Apply to CMU

If you are not a current CMU student (enrolled within the last year), complete the CMU application before submitting your program application. Please note, acceptance to CMU does not guarantee acceptance into the nursing program.

Step 4

Request Transcripts

The transcript request form gives the Department of Health Sciences permission to utilize your transcripts from CMU or other previous institution(s).

Kaplan Nursing Entrance Exam

Kaplan testing is not required for the LPN-BSN Program.

The Kaplan Nursing School Entrance Exam is available to take throughout the academic year.

Results of the Kaplan Exam are required to be turned into the Department of Health Sciences by the application deadline. Students are allowed to take the KAPLAN only ONE time per application period.

Request Grades

Only required for PN, AAS and LPN-BSN.
For specific pre-requisite course in which you are currently enrolled you must have your professor submit the grade status request form directly.

CASPer Test

Required for traditional BSN application only.

BSN applicants must complete an online assessment Computer-Based Assessment for Sampling Personal Characteristics (CASPer), to assist with our selection process. 

All costs associated with CASPer are the responsibility of the student.
