The Hamilton Rec Center is proud to offer massage services provided by a professionally trained, nationally certified and Colorado state licensed Massage Therapist. Massage Service rates are applicable to the individual redeeming the service. A current membership is required to receive the discounted membership rate.

All appointments must be pre-paid at the rec center front desk. Cash, check, and credit card are accepted. All services are non-refundable.

Your full name
Your phone number
The preferred day and time you would like to schedule your appointment
The desired length and type of your massage

A Health History Questionnaire should be completed prior to your appointment time.

ZACH RUSSELL

Licensed Massage Therapist

Zach has been practicing massage therapy since 2016, having previously worked as a massage therapist at Denver International Airport. Finding peace in chaos is what he does best. Having started his practice at the Cortiva Institute in Westminster, Colorado, Zach is excited to continue his focus in Sports Massage, Structural Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Chair Massage at CMU. Understandably, sometimes the goal for your massage is just to relax, unwind, and take a break. If that is the case, he recommends a soothing Swedish Massage for finding balance.

New to the area, Zach moved to Grand Junction to study business here at CMU. Passionate about both technology and business, Zach is expected to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. Zach is passionate about affordable healthcare solutions and plans to seek employment as a systems analyst in the healthcare industry. Until then, he will be here with us serving the Maverick community.

Please plan to arrive five to ten minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Your massage therapist will allow fifteen minutes past your scheduled appointment time before considering your appointment a "No Show."

A Health History Questionnaire should be completed prior to your appointment time. This form can be found online as well as at the rec center front desk. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to fill out the form if you have not already done so.

All appointments will begin on time. Completion of paperwork and/or being late to your appointment will cut in to your scheduled appointment time. It is the client's responsibility to update their Health History Questionnaire with any changes in health. Please make sure to communicate all changes to your health with your massage therapist.

Once you enter the rec center lobby area, let the front desk attendant know that you have arrived for your massage appointment. During this time you can fill out the required Massage Therapy Health History Questionnaire if you have not already done so.

Everyone has different comfort levels when it comes to receiving a massage; therefore, it is up to you to decide what you wear during your massage. Only the section of your body being massaged will be exposed (the rest of your body will be covered by sheets). The main communication that needs to happen during your massage is for your comfort level, if you need more or less pressure, and/or if you experience pain in certain areas. General conversation during your massage is not necessary; you can talk as much as you would like or not at all.

Our massage therapists use USDA-certified organic lotion or oil, which is non-allergenic and noncomedogenic. It leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth, and conditioned- not greasy, oily or sticky.

The massage therapy rooms are located on the mid-level of the Maverick Center inside the Hamilton Rec Center, in the back hallway just north of the basketball court
