Western Colorado's Selective University

Degrees

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) is a professional degree that focuses on intensive work in visual art and design supported by a program in general studies. The BFA degree is intended to prepare students to pursue a professional career in the visual arts.

At Colorado Mesa University we offer three separate Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees, all of which are designed to be completed in four years. Students studying within the Art and Design Department can pursue a BFA in Art with concentrations in art education (K-12), art history, or studio art. We offer a BFA degree in Graphic Design with a concentration in visual design. We also offer a BFA in Animation, Film and Motion Design.
