Our collection of Colorado Basin Water Teaching Resources has been compiled over several years and will hopefully continue to grow.   • Grand Canyon Monitoring And Research Center: Provides relevant scientific information about the status and trends of natural, cultural, and recreational resources found in portions of Grand Canyon National Park and the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area affected by Glen Canyon Dam operations.
  • Upper Colorado River Commission: Includes current policy information and documents relating to the proper allocation of Colorado River Water to the Upper Basin States in compliance with the 1922 Colorado River Compact.
  • Upper Colorado River Endangered Fish Recovery Program: Works to recover four threatened and endangered fish species found only in the Colorado River Basin, while allowing water development to proceed in accordance with federal, state, and interstate compacts. 
  • U.S. Bureau Of Reclamation: Contains water supply news and information for reclamation facilities across the Upper Colorado River Basin.
  • Water And Tribes Initiative: Includes a wide range of resources on Native American Tribes' water rights in Colorado and issue facing the Colorado River Basin.
  • Western Water Assessment: From CU Boulder, they are a university-based applied research program that addresses societal vulnerabilities to extreme weather and natural hazards, particularly those related to water resources.
