The August 12th installment of the Common Ground Speaker Series will take place at the Center For Teaching & Learning in Tomlinson Library. For those attending this second installment, parking is free in the CP11 parking garage near the University Center. You can use the walking map to the left as a reference guide for navigating from the parking garage to the Center For Teaching & Learning!
What Can I Expect?
Attendees will learn about the current state of the Colorado River and reflect on their relationship with water, trace the history of water development in the Grand Valley, and examine the vital intersection of food production and rangelands. As we navigate a changing climate in an already arid landscape, this series addresses why drought, our water heritage, and rangelands matter, and how can we collectively shape a sustainable future.
