Bridge to Bachelor's Degree Program

Colorado Mesa University is a proud partner of the Colorado Community College System’s (CCCS) Bridge to Bachelor’s Degree Program. Students who complete an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree at one of Colorado's 13 community colleges are guaranteed admission to CMU!

Requirements to Transfer

First-Time CCCS students must:

  • Opt-in to the program at the start of your Associate degree program at a CCCS college, or within your first semester. Then meet with your community college advisor to ensure your intended degree and program are eligible.
  • Maintain a 2.0 minimum GPA at your CCCS college
  • Complete any Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) Degree

  • Personalized advising and guidance from CMU's Transfer Services Team to ensure credits and administrative supports are in place to easily transfer to CMU to complete your four-year degree.

Colorado Statewide Articulation Agreements

This statewide program guarantees students graduate from a community college with a 60-credit Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree, enroll with junior status at Colorado Mesa University, and complete the bachelor’s degree in no more than an additional 60 credits (for a total of 120 credits). Agreements for selected transfer degrees may require up to an additional 66 credits (for a total of 126 credits).

The associate's degree must be completed for the guarantee to be recognized. Otherwise, only those courses approved through the gtPathways program (see below) can be guaranteed to transfer.
