Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) Programs

While typically only the Associate of Arts (AA) and Associate of Science (AS) degrees are transferable, CMU offers a baccalaureate degree in select majors that build on the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. This degree is designed for employed students who seek professional career advancement but are in need of a baccalaureate degree. The curriculum sequence builds on the technical major of the AAS and then fills out the remaining general education and baccalaureate major requirements. Currently, CMU offers the BAS in the following majors: Business, Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice (POST), Hospitality Management, and Radiologic Technology.
