Engaging the CMU community to forge our path forward
In August 2022, Colorado Mesa University launched a campus-wide initiative called Forming the Future. The initiative resulted in a new strategic plan and roadmap for CMU.
CMU took a values-first approach, engaging the campus community in a conversation about the values and actions that will shape how we understand who we are and who we want to become.
Leading the process, our Forming the Future Committee facilitated conversation, surveyed the campus, examined relevant data, and assessed the needs of the communities we serve.
