The Physics Program at Colorado Mesa University holds weekly seminars during the academic year. Each seminar consists of a physics-related presentation by a CMU faculty member, student, visitor, and sometimes an alum. These are free and open to all CMU students, staff, faculty and the public. Soft drinks and cookies provided!
All seminars meet on Thursdays at 12:30 pm in Wubben 160.
All senior physics majors are required to take 2 semesters of PHYS 494 and physics minors take one semester. In addition to attending all seminars, they each give one seminar per semester on a physics topic related to their senior research project. Student seminars are highlighted in the schedule below.
