  Residence Hall Move-In 8am-4pm // Assigned residence hall (on-campus students) // Check in to your residence hall to receive your New Mav Days schedule.
• Wed, Aug. 12

  Taking Care of Business Fair 9am-2pm // University Center, First Floor // Parents and supporters: Stop by the Student Services table to write your student a letter to be delivered later in the semester. // Check in with multiple departments from around campus to make sure you have everything taken care of. Educational Access Services, Financial Aid, Payroll, IRIS and many other departments will be there and ready to assist you.

  Lunch Available 11am-1:30pm // The Caf // Take a break from moving in and enjoy a refreshing lunch in the Caf. Students are able to bring two guests with them into the dining hall to eat for free. Lunch tickets are located in each student’s residence hall welcome bag.

  International Student Orientation 12-3pm // University Center Room 225 // All new international students are required to attend. Topics include visa regulations and maintenance of status, student employment options, health and safety, academics, finances and culture shock.

  Mavs on Main Farmers Market 5:30-8:30pm // Downtown Grand Junction, Main Street // Join the Admissions Office, Student Life and the Alumni Association at the Downtown Grand Junction Farmers Market for shopping, food and exploring. The first 250 attendees will receive special CMU gear! Free parking is available in the parking garage on Rood between 4th and 5th Streets.

  Know Where to Go @ CMU Tech 8am-10am // CMU Tech Bishop Campus // If you're pursuing a major at CMU Tech or taking classes there, stop by to explore the campus, familiarize yourself with the spaces and connect with faculty. Aviation students should visit CMU Tech, while lineworker students should visit the lineworker campus. Parents are welcome to attend, and you may arrive at any time during the event. Shuttles run from Confluence Hall (Lot CP3), with the last shuttle departing back to the Main Campus from CMU Tech at 9:45am.
