Department Specialist Advisors
As you complete your essential learning requirements and begin focusing on courses for your major, the path forward can feel complex—especially in programs with rigorous requirements or that have multiple steps to complete. That's where our Department Specialist Advisors come in. These advisors work closely with students with a Sophomore class standing to help navigate what's next for your degree, plan for program-specific requirements, and stay on track for graduation.
Meet Levi
I’m excited to work with students at the Davis School of Business! Being a first-generation student myself, I understand how challenging it can be to navigate college and I’m happy to be a resource for anyone who needs support along the way. As the DSB department specialist, I am a great resource when it comes to exploring your concentrations, building your network on campus and connecting you with career and skill advancement opportunities.
As the IRIS Department Specialist for the Davis School of Business I can answer any questions you would bring to the IRIS main office and more specific questions related to DSB. I will be able to provide a little more insight into Business Concentrations, the ideal sequencing of business class, what to expect from business classes, etc. I am also a great resource for helping you connect and network with clubs, programs and other staff/faculty on campus!
I grew up in the Grand Valley and went to Palisade High School. In December of 2022 I earned a BA in Environmental Studies and Philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder. While studying at CU, I worked in Dr. Karen Bailey’s lab as a research assistant on fire mitigation in Colorado and drought studies in Utah.
After college I spent a few years as a horticulturalist in Indiana, working for Inari Agriculture, a biotech start-up company. I was the sustainability specialist and research associate in charge of corn and wheat breeding/production. I'm a big environmentalist and a self-proclaimed nerd – I love Dungeons and Dragons, rock climbing, hiking, playing video games (like League of Legends and Baldur’s Gate 3), and discovering new music.
