At the Center for Digital Learning & Innovation, we are committed to fostering a culture of continuous growth, collaboration, and excellence in teaching. Our Faculty Development & Support initiatives are designed to empower educators with the tools, strategies, and partnerships they need to thrive in an ever-evolving digital learning environment.
Semester-Based Development Series
Launching in Fall 2025, our Faculty Development Series will feature 2–3 engaging sessions each semester. Sessions will be available both live and asynchronously, making professional learning accessible to all faculty regardless of schedule. With a focus on practical strategies and emerging trends, these sessions are built to inspire and support continuous improvement in teaching.
Digital Teaching Academy & Micro-Credentials
We’re building a robust Digital Teaching Academy that will offer a variety of micro-credential tracks focused on high-impact teaching practices.
Digital Training Repository
We’re creating a centralized digital training repository featuring more than 20 on-demand courses—covering a range of topics from instructional technology to course design best practices. New trainings will be added each year, and existing content will be regularly updated to reflect the latest innovations in digital pedagogy.
Consultative Faculty Partnerships
Through our consultative support model, faculty can work one-on-one with instructional design experts to co-develop courses, explore new teaching methods, and design learning experiences that are effective, inclusive, and aligned with academic goals.
