Adult learning, self-motivated education, personal enrichment, or just plain curiosity. Whatever you call it, Colorado Mesa University offers several affordable approaches to learning without being enrolled as a CMU/WCCC student.

Enhance job skills, develop a new hobby or stretch your mind in the lifelong learning program that best fits you.

Community Education Center

The Community Education Center offers more than 150 noncredit courses teaching job skills, hobbies and life skills in short-term classes and workshops.
  • Courses are open to all with no student application process. Just register for the classes you want.
  • Daytime and evening courses are offered.
  • Start date, class length, format and cost differ by course.

Golden Scholars

The Golden Scholars program lets those 60 and older attend CMU courses at a discounted tuition.

  • Enroll in almost any Colorado Mesa University course as a non-credit student (excluding J-Term and online courses).
  • Tuition is $25 per credit hour plus any regular course fees.
  • Course enrollment entitles noncredit students to a student ID card providing library access, computer access, email, course downloads, and discounts on other activities.
