  • 9th Annual Upper Colorado River Basin Water Forum, Nov 13-14, 2019, CMU University Center. 
  • 2019 Mesa County State of the Rivers Meeting, May 14, 6:30 - 8:30 in CMU's University Center Ballroom. This meeting will provide you with an update on this year's snowpack, expected river flows and reservoir operations, as well as drought planning and information on an innovative project to help endangered fish in the Grand Valley. Co-sponsored by the Colorado River District
  • An Evening with Jonathan Thompson, April 24, 6:30pm in CMU's University Center Ballroom. Jonathan Thompson is the author of River of Lost Souls, which tells the story behind the 2015 Gold King Mine disaster that turned the Animas River in southwestern Colorado orange with sludge. This event will be free and open to the public, with a reception followed by a slideshow and talk.

  • An Evening with River Photographer Tim Palmer, April 16, 2018, 6-8pm, CMU University Center, Grand Junction, CO. This event will include a reception with complimentary beer, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, followed by a slideshow and discussion with Tim Palmer.
