Dominguez Escalante NCA Proposal Report 2007

Results of a series of public forums established to determine the level of public support for designation of the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area outside of Grand Junction Colorado.  Report was delivered to the Boards of County Commissioners in Mesa, Delta and Montrose Counties detailing various connections to the landscape.

This report presents the results of a series of stakeholder meetings convened to consider the merits of a proposal to designate the area around Gateway, Colorado as a new National Conservation Area. 

BLM Grand Junction Field Office Recreational Planning Report Vol.1-2009

This report presents the results of a focus group and survey study of recreational activity and preferences in the BLM Grand Junction Field Office in Western Colorado.  This report was part of the data collection process in support of the planning effort to revise the Resource management Plan for the field office.  Volume 1 focuses on the methodology and results of the focus groups and surveys.

 BLM Grand Junction Field Office Community Assessment Report – 2009

This report presents the results of a focus group study designed to understand the vision of local communities in Mesa County, Colorado, how public lands affect that vision, and the perceived impacts BLM decisions will have on their visions, as well as, the appropriate role of collaborating partners in planning and managing public lands. This data was used to inform the revision of the GJFO Resource Management Plan.
