437CO is CMU's art gallery in downtown Grand Junction. The gallery features CMU senior student work as well as national and international guest artist work. Gallery admission is free and all receptions and artist events are free and open to the public.

The CMU 437Co Art Galley is pleased to announce the second of our BFA candidate senior exhibitions. In Search For Purpose  features work by four BFA candidates, Matthew Funkhouse, Tallin Nieman, Sufficiently Enough, and Troy Day.

Troy Day: 
Pushing my capabilities into a state of constant challenge, engaging with the uncontrollable, and choosing to manipulate the controllable into forms that validate my practice.

Matthew Funkhouser: 
My work is a hunger to witness beautiful things and find larger meanings. To learn and be surprised.

Tallin Nieman: 
Each life has more value than anyone can imagine. I communicate one's story to my community through the lens of portrait photography.

Sufficiently Enough: 
I strive to create at that is thought provoking. Art that expresses who I am and how I feel simultaneously.
