Biography

Dr. Leadbetter oversees training for students/staff working in the Colorado Mesa University Monfort Family Human Performance Research Lab along with the Colorado Mesa University Wellness Program. He serves as Director for the Exercise Physiology Research Club. Dr. Leadbetter is also the Head Womens' Cross Country Coach. His research centers on investigating exercise performance at altitude.

Biography

Mr. Alumbaugh is the Laboratory Assistant for the Monfort Family Human Performance Research Laboratory and a part-time instructor for the Department of Kinesiology.  He first attended Iowa State University and eventually took his bachelor's degree in exercise science from Mesa State College.  After taking his bachelor's degree, Mr. Alumbaugh attended the University of New Mexico as a graduate assistant in the Department of Education, where he ultimately took his Master of Science degree in Physical Education.  Throughout his educational tenure, Mr. Alumbaugh proudly served in the Colorado Army National Guard as a medic and physical training non-commissioned officer.
