Colorado Mesa University Academic (Colorado) Scholarship - Nursing and Radiologic Sciences
Value: Up to $1,000
Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Baccalaureate Nursing Faculty Student Achievement Scholarship
Value: $300
Criteria:
- May be a part-time student (minimum of 6 semester credits) or full-time student (minimum of 12 semester credits).
- Class rank of Senior.
- Must be majoring in Nursing.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Jim Barr Scholarship
Value: $500
Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Must be majoring in
Radiologic Science.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Alan Basinger Memorial Scholarship
Value: $400
Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Class rank of Sophomore
- Must be majoring
in Radiologic Science.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Wesley Bretey Memorial Scholarship
Value: $1000
Criteria:
- Must be a graduate of a Mesa County (Colorado) District
51 high school with a desire to advance in emergency medicine.
- inimum GPA of 2.0.
- Recipient must
submit an essay describing their aspirations to advance in emergency
medicine as part of the application process.
Chief Ouray Voiture 40 & 8 Scholarship
Value: $300
Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Class rank of Sophomore or higher.
- Must be majoring in the Nursing
program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Harold E. Daniels Memorial Nursing Scholarship

- Class rank of Junior or Senior.
- Must be majoring
in the
Nursing program seeking a Bachelor's degree.
- Must be a resident of Mesa County (Colorado).
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Preference given to students with financial
need.
Emerson Family Health Sciences Scholarship

Value: In-State Tuition, Fees and Books (maximum of 15 credit
hours per semester).
Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Must be majoring in Health Sciences
including kinesiology, radiology, and nursing.
- Must be a Mesa County (Colorado) resident.
- Incoming freshmen applicants
must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.0 while in high school.
- Recipients
must maintain a 2.5 GPA term of the scholarship award.
Richard F. Gilmore, DDS Award
Value: $300

- Colorado Mesa University student who has been accepted into dental school.
- Qualified applicants
must show evidence of acceptance into dental school.
- Minimum GPA of
2.75.
Eleanor Hansen Memorial Fund Scholarship
Value: $200
Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Must be majoring in the Nursing program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Preference given to a students whose
goal is to work in cancer research and care of cancer
patients.
Deane Harmon Scholarship
Value: $300
Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Must be majoring in the Nursing program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Preference give to students with financial need.
Dessie Dell Hill Scholarship
Value: Up to In-state tuition and fees (maximum of 12 credit hours per semester)
Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Must be a female student majoring in the Nursing program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Hilltop LPN Scholarship
Value: $3500
Criteria:
- May be a part-time student (minimum of 6 credit hours per semester) or a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours per semester).
- Must be accepted into
the Certificate in Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Minimum institutional cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Financial
need may be a consideration.
Stanley E & Ruth M T Johnson Family Scholarship

- Must be enrolled in Construction Management (seeking a Bachelor of Science degree), or enrolled in the Nursing program (seeking an A.A.S. or RN degree ), or a member of the CMU golf team.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Beulah Kettle Scholarship

Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Must be majoring in the Nursing program.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5.
Liff Nursing Scholarship
Value: $300
Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Must be majoring in the Nursing program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Mesa County Medical Society (MCMS) & Auxiliary Nursing Scholarship
Notice: Post-baccalaureate student may apply
Value: $1,500
Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Must be majoring in the Nursing program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Must be a resident of Mesa County, Colorado.
- Preference given to students with financial need.
- The intention of the award is that the recipient
work in Mesa County for at least two years following graduation.
Josephine Roessler-Prinster Award - Nursing Scholarship
Value: In-state Tuition and fees ( maximum of 12 credit
hours per semester).
Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Must be majoring in the Nursing program.
- Minimum GPA of 2.75.
Joy and Alfred Shideler Scholarship

Strand Family Endowed Fund
Value: $1000

- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Must be majoring in the Nursing program.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5.
Rudolph and Fannie Susman Scholarship
Value: $1000
Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Class rank of Junior or Senior.
- Must be majoring in the Nursing program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- The recipient shall also agree
to support a long range goal of personally contributing to this
or similar scholarship programs.
Waldeck Nursing Scholarship

Criteria:
- Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
- Must be majoring in the Nursing program.
- Must be a graduate of a Mesa County, Colorado high school.
- Selection based equally on Financial need, community involvement, academic performance and potential.
- May be renewable for up to five years if student meets the requirements and maintains a minimum GPA of 3.5 or ranks in the top 60% of the nursing class.

Criteria:
