CMU is a Human Scale University where the campus community are a model of the world we want to create. CMU shares values with STRiVE Colorado Organization and shares the organization’s vision that every person can be included in all facets of the community. CMU also shares the belief that when dignity is extended to all persons, individuals can reach personal independence, and can be empowered to pursue their goals anddreams.
CMU is a place where students, faculty, staff and the people of STRiVE develop meaningful relationships that bring forward the values of STRiVE and CMU.

About STRiVE
STRiVE is a private, non-profit organization authorized by the State of Colorado to provide community-based services and supports to individuals with disabilities and their families. STRiVE has been providing services and support to individuals and families with developmental disabilities in Mesa County who work to be independent and take greater control of their lives for over 50 years.
