As you make plans to attend CMU or WCCC, we are here to help you every step of the way.
If you are a first-time student admitted to CMU or WCCC for fall 2021, please contact your admissions counselor or the Admissions Office at 970.248.1875 to enroll in classes.
The spring 2022 new student registration process will be available in November 2021.

Complete your MAVcard submission process
Upload your ID photo with the MyPhoto app in MAVzone. Before taking your photo, please review the instructions in the app. Then, email a copy of a government-issued photo ID to mavcard@coloradomesa.edu. The email must be sent from your CMU email account to the MAVcard Office for security reasons. You can access your CMU email with the Outlook app in MAVzone. Finally, click here to submit your MAVcard application.

Attend In-Person Orientation
In-Person New Student Orientation for traditional first-time students will start Thursday, August 19. Optional parent sessions will be available on Thursday, August 19 from 1-4pm. Student programming will begin on Thursday, August 19 at 5:30pm and conclude on Sunday, August 22. The first day of the semester is Monday, August 23.
Commonly asked questions
New Student Orientation is $90 and will be applied directly to the Fall 2021 bill. The fee covers the Digital Orientation enrollment process as well as the in-person New Student Orientation programming in August.
Please note that this cost applies to first-time freshman students. See class registration details for all incoming student types here.
Make sure that you complete your Pre-Arrival Plan and that you check your email regularly. The Admissions Office will contact you with the email address you included on your application for admission.
All other campus departments will contact you with your CMU email in MAVzone. You can also download the Microsoft Outlook app from your phone's app store. Your email address is your MAVzone username plus @mavs.coloradomesa.edu.
