Associate of Applied Science

The associate degree program offers a broad range of job opportunities and a high potential for compensation and job security. The program prepares students to be direct caregivers in hospitals, ambulatory clinical care settings, physicians’ offices, clinics and long-term care facilities.

The associate degree program is designed to be completed in two years of full-time course work following completion of prerequisite courses. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (RN). Students complete all of their required coursework and lab and clinical experiences in Montrose.

As many as 20 students will be enrolled in the program every other year.

Graduates of the program interested in advancing their education can apply for CMU’s RN-BSN online program and earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
