I am a senior at CMU and am in the process of completing a music education degree. I have been involved with the Rowdy Brass Band, Wind Symphony, Orchestra, Maverick Stampede and Maverick Sound in my time so far at CMU, and starting in August I will be preparing for a senior recital (which will hopefully take place in April!!) I started music in 5th grade on violin but switched to trumpet in 6th and I’ve been in love with it ever since. This will be my second year as trumpet section leader for the Stampede and I’m super excited to start my senior year! In the future I would like to either teach middle or high school band, either here in the valley or back in my hometown. In my free time I like to watch Netflix, hang out with my friends, and watch drum corps shows on YouTube.
