Karli Knudsen mostly teaches introductory kinesiology courses; Health and Wellness, Foundations of Kinesiology, Applications of Physical Fitness and Exercise Prescription and Kinesiology Activity Classes.

Through these courses her goal is to help students connect the classroom material to real-life movement, healthy behaviors and promote a physical activity lifestyle. She tries to make what is learned in class feel relevant, usable and meaningful outside of the classroom.

Knudsen started at CMU as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, then was the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach for four years. Knudsen and her wife own a small gym here in town where they mostly do personal training and small group training.
