Gym Passes

Members are responsible for accompaniment and the continual monitoring of their guests.

Prices reflect fees for Spring Semester 2010. Recreation passes may be purchased at the Student Recreation Center Information Desk. For more information call 970.248.1592.  All recreation center members must have their MAVcard to be permitted to enter the facility.

Full Access Privileges

CMU Full Time & Part Time Students...........................................................................................FREE with MAVcard

Student Fees are paid at registration as outlined in the CMU Student Handbook and allow students that are enrolled in the current semester access to the Student Recreation Center.  The MAVcard is used to determine eligibility and required for entering the Student Recreation Center.  Failure to produce your MAVcard at time of entrance will require payment of the $5 daily fee.

CMU Faculty & Staff (Benefits Eligible)...................................................................................................$20/month

Full-time faculty and staff members of Colorado Mesa University are eligible to subscribe to the CMU Employee Wellness Benefits Program which includes access to all of the recreational facilities.  Monthly payment may be done through payroll deduction.  Membership enrollment can be completed by any member of the recreation center front desk staff.

CMU Faculty & Staff (Non-Benefits Eligible)...........................................................................................$30/month

Non-benefits eligible faculty and staff of Colorado Mesa University are eligible for memberships to the recreation center.  Membership enrollment can be completed by any member of the recreation center front desk staff.

CMU Alumni & MavClub Members.............................................................................................................$30/month

Alumni and MavClub booster members are invited to purchase memberships to the student recreation center.  Eligibility must be verified prior to membership becoming active.  Membership enrollment can be completed by any member of the recreation center front desk staff. Family Memberships..........................................................................................................................Add $25/month

Spouse and dependents(under the age of 21) of eligible CMU students, faculty, staff, alumni, and boosters may add a recreation membership to receive full and unrestricted use of all facilities.  Eligibility must be verified prior to membership becoming active and each member 13+ must obtain their own MAVcard for access.  Membership enrollment can be completed by any member of the recreation center front desk staff.

CMU Guest Pass...........................................................................................................$5 per visit/$3 (12 & under)

All guests must be accompanied by a member and may purchase a guest pass for full access to the facility.  Member must be present at the time guest arrives and guest pass is good for the duration of their visit.  No re-entry allowed, without additional guest pass.  Membership enrollment can be completed by any member of the recreation center front desk staff.

CMU Punch Cards.......................................................................................................$70-20 visits/$120-40 visits

All guests must be accompanied by a member and may purchase a punch cardfor full access to the facility.  Member must be present at the time guest arrives and punch card is good for the duration of their visit.  No re-entry allowed, without additional punch.  Membership enrollment can be completed by any member of the recreation center front desk staff.

Restricted Access Privileges

Community Swim Pass Member............................................................Individual $25/month--Family $35/month

Members of the community may purchase a membership to the El Pomar Natatorium.  Access to the other parts of the student recreation center are restricted to members of the community.  Times and availability may be restricted based on CMU student and athletic usage. Membership enrollment can be completed by any member of the recreation center front desk staff.

*Family Memberships are for immediate family members/dependents only, proof may be requested. 

         -Dependents 21 and over must purchase their own membership or pay daily fee.

**Children 12 and under not permitted in the fitness area.  They may be accompanied by adult in the pool or   

    dropped off at babysitting service.

***Children 13-17 are permitted in the fitness area and gym, but must be supervised at all times.
