Our course is a three-evening professional seminar designed to strengthen foundational knowledge across key areas of the water sector, including water law, hydrology, water quality, and best practices in water management. Offered over three weeks, each session is led by experienced practitioners and subject matter experts with deep regional and technical expertise within the Colorado River Basin. This evening will include the following presentations and speakers:
- Changing Fire Regimes in Western Colorado: What It Means for Rivers, Erosion, and Water Quality by Dr. Deb Kennard, Professor of Environmental Science at Colorado Mesa University
- Climate Change and Water in Colorado by Peter Goble, Assistant State Climatologist for the Colorado Climate Center at Colorado State University
