Occupational therapy students graduating from Colorado Mesa University are graduating from an ACOTE® accredited program and are eligible to take the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification exam and apply for licensure in all states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
In addition, Colorado is part of the Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact. Under the OT Compact, Occupational Therapists (OTs) who are licensed in good standing in a Compact member state will be eligible to practice in other Compact member states via a “compact privilege,” which is equivalent to a license.
